Motivation
The main motivation for this blog came from my current hardships, experience and the rejection by some dailies refusing to publish comments differing from the public perception... The trigger of course is the article in Nature about the postdoc situation....
About me
I'm one of those pitiable postdoc, who is running out of funds and is desperately seeking a new opportunity. I'm currently developing methodologies for monitoring vegetation dynamics from satellite observations using signal/image processing techniques and machine learning methodologies. I have a Masters in computer vision and robotics and over 3 years of experience in software development. Apart from research, I enjoy coding and critical thinking... and of course learning and analyzing anything I could lay my hands on...
